Helping patients, doctors, and nurses with insurance needs for 26 years

“Luba! You’re still here! Wonderful!” exclaimed a smiling El Portal Imaging Center patient a few weeks ago.

“You may not remember me” he continued, “but you helped me solve a serious medical insurance problem over 20 years ago. Thank you for that! I’m so glad you are still here and that I get to talk with you again! I know you can help me.” Luba’s day was made!

In 1983 Luba began working with Richey-Hansen Radiology Medical Group which has now evolved into the state-of-the-art El Portal Imaging Center. Over all these years she has been skillfully assisting patients, like the gentleman above, along with physicians, nurses, and health providers to negotiate their way through the complex world of health care insurance and benefits. For Luba, providing such support is a joy.

Nowadays Luba is joined by Sharon, Leslie, and Claudia who work tirelessly to facilitate insurance and financial needs. Keeping abreast of constant health care changes, coordinating with local providers, and providing excellent services for El Portal Imaging Center patients are their primary goals.

Luba concludes, “More than ever, our business is about health and hope. We are delighted to work with the doctors, nurses, and patients toward those excellent outcomes.”
