El Portal Imaging Center is proud that we have the
only high field open MRI in the area because it provides the best
of both worlds. Its high field magnet ensures faster and more accurate
reads. And it is open, which provides superior patient comfort by
minimizing any claustrophobic feelings. MRI is an important tool
for viewing soft tissues within the body.
Our state-of-the-art Hybrid PET-CT 64 Slice allows
our radiologists to capture detailed images of how the organs and
tissues are actually functioning and is particularly useful in detection
of certain cancers as well as heart and brain disorders.
Computerized tomographic angiography is a radiological
test that combines the technology of a highly accurate 64-slice
CT scan with that of traditional angiography to create detailed
3D images of the blood vessels in the heart. Finally there is an
option to more invasive traditional angiograms.
Our advanced digital mammography equipment allows
for faster image acquisition (less than a minute), offering you
a shorter exam time. The digital scans also provide an improved
contrast between dense and non-dense breast tissue, and we're able
to manipulate the breast images for a more accurate detection of
breast cancer.
